Justin over the sideTrust.

I know before I can work with anyone, I have be able to trust him or her. Trust is the word I chose to build my business, ABC Window Cleaners and Building Maintenance, and to navigate my life. With trust, great things can be accomplished. Without it, there’s a lot of second guessing, avoidance and bitterness.

As the owner of ABC Window Cleaners and Building Maintenance, I am honored each time a client trusts me to tackle a cleaning problem. Sometimes, it’s something every day, such as window cleaning or maybe cleaning a warehouse floor. Other times, it’s something the client wants to keep hushed – say an overflowing drain system or a broken freezer with spoiled food.

Our clients know when they call us, they can trust us to keep their information confidential and their businesses’ reputation safe. For 15 years, I was enlisted in the US Navy as an electrician senior chief on destroyers and destroyer escorts. From my time serving my country to owning other businesses, I have always loved a challenge and I have never been afraid to tackle a task head on. When we were out at sea and facing a problem, there was no running to the closest hardware store to secure a necessary part or calling a specialist to fix the problem. We had to find a solution to the problem then and there. My experience at sea taught me there are not many problems that I can’t find a solution for.My business philosophy begins with a trust in myself. As writer Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “Self-trust is the first secret of success.” Around our office, our employees know they can trust me to be honest, fair and a good role model. They know if they give me a problem, I will work to solve it. Whether you need your parking lot power swept to clear off broken glass, weeds, fall leaves and cigarette debris or the windows cleaned on a 5-story building, you can trust me that whatever your cleaning need may be, I can help solve it. From my years of experience in the business world and as a volunteer in my community, I have seen how the power of words can either help or hurt a person. I have always found when I trust my employees and give them my confidence, that they will do great work. There are two quotes about trust that I find useful in working my clients and my employees: Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “Trust men and they will be true to you; treat them greatly and they will show themselves great.” There are countless ways I can prove this to be true. Throughout my life, I have found if you give people a chance and show you believe in them, they will go above and beyond to honor the respect and trust you have given them. I have also seen when you treat people unkindly and unfairly, then they don’t care about the quality of their work or even themselves. A statesman and politician, Henry L. Stimson once said, “The chief lesson I have learned in a long life is that the only way to make a man trustworthy is to trust him; and the surest way to make him untrustworthy is to distrust him and show your distrust.”

For myself as a businessman and a community volunteer, I have found it is always beneficial to treat people the way I would want to be treated. Not only is it good for business, but more importantly it’s good for the betterment and health of our community. One concern business owners have is handing over the keys. At ABC Window Cleaners and Building Maintenance, we ensure that our clients’ businesses are safe in our hands. We have five layers of security guaranteed to keep the key to their business safe and secure. There are clients of ABC Window Cleaners and Building Maintenance who we have serviced for many years. When they have a cleaning problem, they don’t even ask us for a quote because they know we are fair and honest and will get the job done to their satisfaction. The greatest compliment we can get is when we hear that a client wants to work with us again or that the client has recommended us to a friend or business acquaintance. I am often asked, “Well, can you do this or that?” And my answer is – if it has to do with cleaning, the answer is yes. And you can trust my team to get the job done on time and to your satisfaction. Because trust – for me – is the key to being a good citizen and working to make a difference in our community through the quality of our work.

For us, the “ABC” in ABC Window Cleaners and Building Maintenance means: “Cleaning for A Better Community”.

You can put your trust in my team and I — that’s our mission.
